About Me...
I am an economist, data scientist, and writer passionate about the intersections of globalization, digitalization, technology, and economic development. Through my academic work, as well as public writing and speaking, I aim to contribute valuable insights into the evolving nature of work and employment opportunities in the Global South, particularly in Africa.
I hold a position as a reasearch fellow and doctoral researcher at the German Institute for Global and Area studies (GIGA), where I coordinate a research project on Sustainable Global Supply Chains.
Welcome To My Website
This website contains all my research, including both academic and policy writing, on a range of development-related topics. It also hosts my AfriTech blog, where I write short essays exploring the role of technology and startups in African development.
