About Me...
I am an economist and writer passionate about globalization, digitalization, and economic development. My work involves empirical research, policy advice, and public writing, focusing on the evolving nature of employment opportunities in the Global South, particularly Africa.
Currently, I am a Research Fellow at the German Institute for Global and Area studies (GIGA), where I also coordinate a research project on Sustainable Global Supply Chains. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Goettingen, writing my doctoral thesis on “Structural Change, Foreign Investment, and Labour Markets in Developing Economies”.
Welcome To My Website
This website contains all my research, including both academic and policy writing, on a range of development-related topics. It also hosts my AfriTech blog, where I write short essays exploring the role of technology and startups in African development.
